Skills training Centre

This project started in September 2007 with the purchase and renovation of a group of buildings. This was followed by the construction of a large workshop building which will complete the accommodation required for this exciting project.

The following training will be available to men and woman. They can choose from one of the following: Carpentry, Fabrication and Welding, Tailoring, Electrical work, Motor vehicle maintenance.

At present there are 45 students and 10 staff. Grants totalling £28,349 were given by Lloyds TSB Foundation which helped greatly towards the purchase and renovation of the group of buildings and the construction of the workshop.
